Bulgarian National Anthem:
Bulgaria
The Bulgarian national anthem was written in 1885 by Tsvetan Radoslavov.
Tsvetan Radoslavov wrote the music when he was a student about to embark on his journey to
fight in the Serbo-Bulgarian war. The song was not adopted as the national anthem until 1964,
and the words have changed a few times since then.
Anthem Words
Stately old mountain,
next to it the Danube blue,
shining upon Trakiya,
the sun burns over Pirin.
Chorus-
Dear motherland,
you are paradise on earth,
your beauty and your charm,
ah, they have no bounds.
Countless fighters gave their lives
for our beloved people.
Mother, give us manly strength
to carry on their course.
The Bulgarian national anthem is called Mila Rodino,
which translates as Dear Motherland.
For those interested in listening to the anthem, please
listen to it entirely as it is a beautiful anthem.
